CrunchyBiscuit View Profile View Posts. Hey there! Been looking forward to playing this game for a long time, it looks great! I tried it on my older computer when it first got released on PC, but couldn't play it due to horrible mouse input faster movement is slow in the game, slower movement is fast in the game, binary domain pc options menu weird and not as it should be.

Tried several high grade gaming mice, but no change. Did all the mouse fixes - no change. Tried the game again during last year's summer when I got a better PC, but the situation hadn't improved. Tried to play it again at the start of this year, but nope, binary domain pc options menu. I still really want to play this game, so did the mouse situation improve? Any known workarounds? Not gonna play this with my controllers, that's for sure.

Hi, Weird, I played this game for 38 hours and unlocked almost every single player achievement, and I didn't have any problem with the mouse. I'm using a basic wired Dell laser mouse. Yes, with my very basic mouse, I didn't notice any issue but I never said that OP or you, obviously didn't have it. According to your profile you only played Binary Domain for a few minutes, so I think my point of view is as valid as yours. The OP said he "couldn"t play it due to horrible mouse input".

And did you only read the link? As I said it was interesting because it explains well the "acceleration" issue. Bordk View Profile View Posts. Thanks for the replies, and thanks Fallen. I was looking for someone who had the same issue I have and could confirm it being fixed. However, by now I have tested this game on five very different machines and all five exhibit the exact same issue. I googled binary domain pc options menu topic and found many threads and critique from all over the net describing the exact same issue.

I have no idea why some people report not having any issues with mouse input, no amount of tweaking or swapping hardware can fix it over here. Huge bummer, game's looking really attractive. Too bad an issue like this renders it unplayable for me. Luckily I still have many other great games left unfinished. Originally posted by! Bordk :. In your Steam library, click on Binary Domain properties. exe In graphics configuration set Field of view to 76 and field of view aiming to 52 In input configuration set mouse sensitivity to Please post back if this works for you as it will help other people. TL;DR: No, it doesn't work. Might make the issue more bearable for certain people, but by no means 'fixes' anything.

Long version: Thanks for your reply and please stop posting that stuff. I read about that 'fix' all over the net multiple times when I Google for Binary Domain mouse issues.

They don't work at all in Binary Domain tried them for fun, but no. The FOV-settings are mostly a matter of preference, won't help one bit with the flawed mouse input either. Sensitivity, also a matter of preference. The one thing a proper in-game sensitivity setting will do, is influence the amount of pixel skip during minimal mouse movement. Usually, default game sensitivity skips several pixels mouse moves a pretty large distance at its smallest possible binary domain pc options menu. This is common knowledge for the experienced PC gamer and doesn't fix the issue, but might make the issue more bearable for certain people.

When I say that I "tried every setting the game has to offer", I mean that I "tried every setting the game has to offer". I've given up and after several years of wanting to play this game and trying it out on multiple configurations, I've also lost patience. As I mentioned in another topic about bad controls, I have a good friend who finished the game. I saw the game in action on his system and I really wanted to play it. He swears there aren't any issues with mouse controls. Now, I don't know what his standards are, but when I tried to play the game on his machine with his controls, the problems were just as prominent on his machine as they are on mine.

I just don't understand how people can't feel something binary domain pc options menu blatantly obvious. I pointed out binary domain pc options menu him that the slower I moved his mouse, the faster the camera pans in the game and the faster I moved his mouse, the slower the camera pans in the game.

I find this terribly obnoxious. He finally admits there is something odd hard to deny that after my demonstrationbut he absolutely doesn't mind or care. I however find it a direct game-breaker.

I can now safely say that this issue affects EVERY SYSTEM. The only real help at this point can only come from a third party developer who knows how to open up the game's files and code this stuff or show me how to do it myself, binary domain pc options menu, or from SEGA. In other words, it's never gonna happen.

Too bad, what a waste of a good game. well, binary domain pc options menu, sorry to hear it didn't work for you, but it certainly did work for me because I had the same issue and after doing the above, it worked perfectly.

perhaps you are right and not everyone is as sensitive to the controls as you seem to be. Last edited by SPG ; 27 May, am. KyrenCross View Profile View Posts. I also have this issue and until now am afraid to reinstall and finish the game because of this. The mouse acceleration is really annoying, binary domain pc options menu, you spend most of the time fighting the controls than anything. I curse a lot on this game, not because of the difficulty, but the horrible mouse optimization.

It's like placing a mouse on top of a joystick, binary domain pc options menu, some sort of axis locking or something, that combined with WSAD binary domain pc options menu its just a pain to manuever. Arcaraziel View Profile View Posts. i dont know what say, i never had this issue i play well and i find the mouse so comfortable. FiddleSticks View Profile View Posts.

I think it could be related to your mouse settings in windows. If you have "low" mouse acceleration turned on in the windows control panel mouse settings like me I also have the mouse issue then it carries into the game. If you have Logitech possibly others as well, but I only have experience with logitech You can set Game detection, Apply game settings when a game is launched and under Game mode settings uncheck "Keep mouse acceleration".

Last edited by FiddleSticks ; 6 Oct, am. nvm didn't work for me : I think it just needs a "Raw mouse input" or "Hardware cursor" option. It's because of the way the character binary domain pc options menu moves making it feel like there is acceleration.
